    Can I place a form inside an absolute positioned element with css?

      Hello,

      I am having trouble positioning a form element with a text area inside an absolutely positioned element. When someone clicks on a link, a div which has visibility to hidden and is absolutely positioned appears next to the mouse cursor using javascript. I want to be able to put a form tag and text area inside this div however it will not display inside this div. The text area appears with all the rest of the static html and not inside the div that appears beside the mouse. Any help is appreciated.

      <div class="tip" id="<?php echo $counterNote; ?>">
        <div class="tip2">
          <div class="tiptitle">
          Add a Note
          </div>
          <div class="tipcont">
           <form action="" method="post" name="applicant_note" id="form">
            <input name="" type="text" class="noteform" />
            <input name="applicant" type="hidden" value="************" />
            <input name="ratelink" type="hidden" value="*************" />
            <input name="panelId" type="hidden" value="***************" />
            </form>
          </div>
        </div>
      </div>

      .tip {
          width:200px;
          position:absolute;
          z-index:100;
          visibility:hidden;
          top:130px;
          left:400px;
          bottom: 500px;
          padding: 5px;
      }
      .tip2 {
          background-color:#CCC;
          layer-background-color:#000000;
          font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;
          font-size: 11px;
          position: absolute;
          height: 200px;
          width: 200px;
      }
      .tiptitle {
          font-size: 14px;
          color: #FFF;
          height: 36px;
      }
      .tipcont {
          padding-left: 20px;
          padding-bottom: 20px;
          padding-top: 10px;
          padding-right: 10px;
      }

      Thanks,

      Kelsey
