    filling in forms ??


      i have adobe reader 9, i have filled in forms using adobe 9, i am having trouble trying to fill in a legal form, which allows filling of the form fields. what would i have to do to fill this in besides printing it. new to all of this. thanks for your help.

          If you are finding that information in document properties, all it means is that "if" the form had fillable fields, you'd be allowed to fill them in. It is a generic security setting that will show in all pdf's whether they look like a form or not.


          If you choose the hand tool, mouse over what you think is a fillable area and it doesn't turn in to an ibeam tool, it isn't fillable.

            thank you for your answer. i thought there might be a way to fill it in, now i know it can not be done.
