You have the latest Flash updates. There is no vs10.0.0.54 the latest is 10.0.2.54, it sounds like the dmg missed a line. Heard this a few times.
If your concerned (you shouldn't be) and not having issues you can check all the patches here.
You can also check your player vesion to make sure you have the latest fixes here:
Just find it woerd that the newest version of Flash is 10.0.2 and when I open Flash it still says version 10.0 shouldn't it say 10.0.2?
I upgraded my Flash player to 10.,0,45,2 so my last question is certain these numbers be reflected in the build?
My flash build is 10.0.0.54 is this the current or is there another after this?
OK I see what the problem is. I originally did not have enough room on my main drive to install Flash from the Master Edtion so I installed on another bootable disk and dragged from the originally installed drive to my main drive a few weeks later which I had made room by deleting a bunch of large files. Flash would boot up fine after I got the msg that Flash needed to repair some files so when I opened the app it opened from my original location. But now I see when the updates were installed they were installed on the old Flash application file on my other drive. Now, do I just uninstall Flash from the other unused app and re download the updates so they would apply to the app on my main drive? I would think so but I need to know if I uninstall Flash from the old drive will it also uninstall any other files from the present app?
If the two drives share any common files, I would uninstall both, and then reinstall clean copy on primary only (probably best bet anyway). If they do not share files, then uninstalling one should not effect the other.
Uninstalled both and reinstalled on my main drive. Problem solved thx
