How to change the default style for HTML elements in AIR?

The HTML page rendered in AIR application looks different from the one rendered in Safari. More specifically, all the form elements (text input, button, checkbox, radio, select etc.) and scroll bars in AIR HTML page don't have the look and feel of the OS (while Safari's look quite native and to that matter all other major browsers). Looking native might not be AIR's design goal. But I still think the HTML control should behave that way. Is there a way to change these styles to match Safari's since they all use the same webkit engine? Any suggestions appreciated.
