copy and paste the error message.
ar btnA:Array = btn001,btn002,btn003,btn004;
I also tried it like this:
ar btnA:Array = [btn001,btn002,btn003,btn004];
but I got the same error message
assuming those objects in your array exist, use:
var btnA:Array = [btn001,btn002,btn003,btn004];
OK, that works and the error message does not come on. But I thought with the other code in there that when you
hover over the buttons they will "grow" larger somewhat similar to the Mac buttons. They don't do anything.
Also, what exactly is an "array?" Do I have to create a specific thing called that? I've never done that before.
Can you help?
there's no code shown that would cause anything to change in the displaylist. in particular, there's no "hover" code.
an array is a collection of objects or primitives usually used to make it convenient to code for a group of similar items.
