    Unable to open a pdf file attachmented to emails


      I am using windows 7,

      and have adobe 9.3. installed.  When I attempt to open a pdf file attached to an email I get a message that says "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.  Please install a program, or if one exists, create an association in the default programs control panel".  I have gone into the default programs and changed Adobe to open pdf's but am still not able to open attachments in emails. If I save the file to my HDD I can open/view the file just fine. Can any one help me out?
