I'm trying to run a batch that changes the text in a library of images with Fireworks. The images are fireworks PNG's (thus why I have to use fireworks and not photoshop as it retains the layers). The files are seperated into sub-folders and it includes several hundred images. At present I have to open each folder and select "add all" to add the .PNG''s to the queue. Is there a way to add folders to the queue instead of opening and adding all of these files? In photoshop I only need to select a folder and check "include sub folders" to accomplish this...it's much quicker and it seems like a fairly obvious thing for adobe to include.
I answered my own question by using bridge.
I opened the folder in bridge, did a search for .PNG's and ran a fireworks batch from Bridge.
Same effect anyway.
Do you have Adobe Bridge? You should be able to more easily select the files via Bridge and then perform the batch process from the Tools > Fireworks menu.
