Chris Cox Feb 23, 2010 4:15 PM (in response to spdorsey6969)It's not an issue. It's someone who learned a new trick and thinks they now know all about image resampling and processing. Sigh.
Sometimes gamma 1.0 is right, sometimes it's not, and sometimes it's completely unnecessary.
Resampling occurs in the colorspace of the image - partly because converting it constantly would lead to losses or a LOT slower processing.
