[Java Script]Getting a selected item from InDesign library

    alam_84 Level 1

      Hi All,

I have opened a library and select an item in the library.

Now I want to get this selected item by using java script.

On looking into extend script toolkit I have found that there is LibraryPanel object which contain property associatedLibrary and method selection().

Please let me know how I could get the libraryPanel object and get the selected item by calling selection method.

If there exist another way to get the selected item from library then please let me know.

      Regards,

      Alam

Objects in Library are called ASSETS:

          Property Assets As Assets
              read-only
              Member of InDesign.Library
A collection of object library assets.

Selection in panel isn't a function:

          Property Selection As Variant
              Member of InDesign.LibraryPanel
The selected object(s). as Array of Objects, Object or idNothingEnum enumerator
