help files are available locally (when you're not connected to the internet). but, the fact that the help files are outside the ide has riled more than a few users.
I guess today most people are connected to the internet when they're at work, but in it's right that the basic help-files schould be accesible offline. I think companies get used to sutormers wo buy books and guides to use their products... so I', happy that not all my gifts or products are electronic or online-depending like the "Plastikkarten" (yeah, I'm german) I gave my father to his birthday as a gift. Luckily those do not (yet?) need a help-file or anythin.
But... i guess electronic ID-Cards would be fine too :-D
Nevertheless: I demand an offline helpfile...
I know Adobe reads these, so if we can get enough people asking for the offline help files back (or at least an option like Microsoft Visual Studio .NET) maybe they'll put it in a FREE update
Guten Tag! Ich habe das selbe problem mit CS4! Du benutzt CS4? Ich hasse es weil es sehr langsam ist! CS3 für mich war das beste Flash version das Adobe angebotet hat.
Don't get your hopes up about Adobe reading this. You aren't likely to get much attention from either end of the playing field. But if you want to try to make a difference you can join the thousands that have probably already made use of the link below...

Adobe sometimes reads these things
But I would recommend using the wishform as linked so it gets to the right team (although I know for sure they're aware of this request, the more votes the better).
