Preventing erroneous popup warning in firefox

I created a flash scrolling text ticker using a text field. It shows .htmlText with href links using target=_blank. ( <a href=" http://site.com" target="_blank"> )

Content for the scrolling text is loaded dynamically from an xml file.

In firefox however, if you click on the text/flash, it issues the firefox popup warning...but this is a user initiated. The user wouldn't be clicking on the text link unless they wanted to go there. The flash isn't trying to load some unwanted popup by itself.

Is there some work around to prevent the firefox "popup" warning? I've tried loading it several different ways like via iframe etc, but doesn't make any difference.

      thank you!
