You'll have to upload your page to remote server and post a URL for us to look at. I don't know what "all spread out" means.
The answer is in your HTML and CSS code. No point in trying to guess because it could be anything.
BTW: If you're pasting text from an email client or Word Processing document, you may have big problems with junk code injection. Use Edit > Paste Special > Text Only to strip out formatting styles from other apps.
Ok I tried the special paste just text. Thanks for teaching me that. Unable right now to put on server.
Hopefully I can explain this much better.
hear is the setup!
<div id= "container"> this holds everything.
<div id= "content">
<div id= "footer">
When I align my footer under content at the end of the page, there is not much space betweent footer and content. When I browse the page in three different browsers, there is a big gap between the footer and content. The footer is where it suppose to be but it seems that the content with the text in it has gotten futher from the footer. I hope I'm explaining this where it's understandable.
What can I do to make my page the way I design it look the are at least close in a browser?
Sorry, but I can't help you without seeing your CSS and HTML code. You'll need to upload your test page and supporting files to a web server space somewhere and post a URL for us to see. Often, your ISP gives you some free web space you could use. Or publish the site temporarily to a TEST folder on your remote server. You can always take it down later.
Ok here's a link to a site I'm working the page that's giving me the problem.
I have the footer and content div close to gether in my dreamweaver. Also if you click on the link when you go to this address calendar of events you will see the samething at the bottom between footer and content speaded apart.
