I have just made a few changes to my website and I am now getting this error message - it appears when I try to open one of my html pages :
"The following translators were not loaded due to errors:
Server Model SSI.htm: has configuration information that is invalid."
I have uploaded the pages which have been changed. I'm using Dreamweaver CS4.
Does anyone know what this message means and how to fix it?
Thanks John for that link. I've had a look at it and found the file on my computer to delete, but I'm a bit hesitant to do so because I get a warning not to delete, amend or add to this particular file unless you know how to customize and extend Dreamweaver .... I wouldn't have a clue how to do that!
Is it safe to delete a WinFileCache file? Will it advrsely affect any other part of Dreamweaver?
Well it is an Adobe Technote that suggests it.
Rename it instead of deleting it and see what happens.
I suspect Dreamweaver will merely recreate it if it can't find it.
