How to embed MP3 player in CS3 on Mac OS 10

    Tim Richards

Hi, I'm using DW CS3 v 9.0 on my Apple Imac OS 10.5.8.

I have set up a table-based page and want to paste some code which links to an MP3 player so that browsers will be able to stream audio MP3s stored on another server - at Datanest (www.mydatanest.com).

I have a friend who does this successfuly on an older version of Dreamweaver (6.0). In his case he uses the 'PASTE HTML' command to place the code straight into the table. This automatically turns into an MP3 player when he uploads the page.

However, in CS3 I don't have a PASTE HTML command! The help section says you have to use the INSERT MEDIA command but I can't make this work. The code generated by Datanest looks like this:

      <DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><embed allowScriptAccess="never" src="http://www.plebius.org/img/flash/player.swf" menu="false" quality="high" width="300" height="300" name="index" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" flashvars="playList=http://www.plebius.org/uploads/playlist/2010-01-31/pvK9HlizeF.xml&ShowPlaylist=1&ShowEQ=1& firstTrack=0&initVol=100" wmode="transparent" /></embed><BR>

This code looks exactly the same as the code used by my friend - but all he does is 'paste html' it in his table. Why has it become so much harder in CS3?

Can someone show me how to do this please?
