    Can't view content in maincontent section

    owenpga2 Level 1

      i was just finishing up putting together a basic website and was messing around with the main content table in CSS trying to adjust something and the next i know all my main content pages including my template page are missing the content. In the code view all my information is there and when i test the site online its all there as well. Any thoughts on what i screwed up to make everything dissapear? Thanks

          Hard to tell without a link to see the code.

          A common cause is unclosed comment tag

          e.g. <!-- without a corresponding -->

          but that doesn't explain seeing the site online.

          Got a link?

              If I take our code and dump it into Dreamweaver I can see everything in design view. Therefore the fault must be in your css style sheet. If you supply the css 'twoColFixRtHdr.css' then someone might be able to help

                here is the css code for the 'twoColFixRtHdr.css'.  thank you

                @charset "UTF-8";
                body  {
                    margin: 0; /* it's good practice to zero the margin and padding of the body element to account for differing browser defaults */
                    padding: 0;
                    text-align: center; /* this centers the container in IE 5* browsers. The text is then set to the left aligned default in the #container selector */

                  Delete clip: rect(0px,0px,0px,0px); from the css selector below: (right at the bottom of the list)

                  .twoColFixRtHdr #mainContent {
                      background-color: #c3cbad;
                      margin-top: 0;
                      margin-right: 250px;
