Perhaps, since there is a space in the projector name, you need quotes around it like so:
[autorun] open="computer fundamentals.exe"
Thanks, Sean but your suggestion didn't work. I haven't used this program for a couple years and now I have to learn to use it all over again.
I think that the problem is, as Sean suggested, the space in the filename. If memory serves, Windows can not handle long filenames in the autorun.inf. (Also, you did not specify the filename of your autorun file... it must be "autorun.inf"). I would try renaming your projector to a standard 8.3 DOS-acceptible filename (e.g. fund.exe) and see if that helps.
None of this has to do with Director, by the way. It is Windows that you are having trouble with.
My computer crashed and I couldn't get back to the forum. However, I tried
what Sean suggested and it worked!
Sean, my computer crashed and I couldn't get back to the forum.
I eventually followed your suggestion correctly and it worked. Thanks a bunch!
