Can anyone tell me the easiest way to do the above?
I hoped illustrator would have the same functionaility as inDesign to add columns and specify the width and number and guttering of columns. Is there any way to do this, or can anyone advise a simple way to achieve this?
Easiest way is to draw a rectangle to the size you want the grid then while it is seleted
Go to Objet>Path>Split Into Grid
Enter the number of columns leave the rows as 1
Enter the with of the gutter
You can do something like this with the Text Frame Options as well but zI think it it better to use this and thread the text.
Amazing, thank you
