I was all excited when I saw this was added to Elements 8. For a short while that is.
I'm doing a time lapse project with still captures. When you use this function in the pro version, you get a higher rez clip that you can pan and zoom around in Pretty neat!. When I do it in Elements, the frames are scaled down to fit the maximum height of the project.
Is there a way in Elements 8 to make it work more like the pro version?
Before you bring the photos into Premiere Elements, go to Edit/Preference and uncheck the preference Default Scale to Frame Size. (Note that this will only affect photos you bring into the project AFTER you change this setting.)
Scale to Frame Size is what's automatically conforming your photos to the size of a video frame.
Mr. Grisetti...sorry for the delay. I was in the middle of a stable edit and didn't want to go poking at it. No surprise, you are right AGAIN. Thanks for the help, and thanks especially for the feature. Saves a lot of energy in this project. You da man.
