1) Don't ever use table layout mode. It's a terrible way to build web pages.
2) No matter how hard you try, you can't make stuff stick to a big background image. It's like trying to nail Jell-O to a wall.

Nancy is right of course, you have to knuckle down with DW. Furthermore, it is very important to toggle back and forth between design mode and code view with your DW-rude designs.
But perhaps we can solve your problem together anyhow. And for that it would be best (at least for me), you would give us a link to your homepage.
Ahhhh... this makes more sense! I was going insane, as this is such a basic site, just my first crossover from Flash – and I was not liking this whole tracing image thing!
I will definitely look into these videos, as well as learn additional options – just thought this would be a quick hit. Thank you both for your responses!
