1. Re: Why is DW giving my templates a .asp extension?
David_Powers Mar 5, 2010 8:30 AM (in response to thersher)Check you site definition. Site > Manage Sites. Select the site, and click Edit. Select the Advanced tab, and make sure that Server Model in Testing Server is set to None.

thersher Mar 5, 2010 8:41 AM (in response to David_Powers)Yes, it is already set to none. Anything else I should look at? I should add this is CS4, if that helps any. Thanks again!

M.R.Biesheuvel Mar 5, 2010 9:01 AM (in response to thersher)Maybe it would help to clear your site 's cache and/or if you are on a windows system clear this file:
c:\users\{username}\appdata\roaming\adobe\dreamweaver cs 4\{land code}\configuration\winfilecache-{numbers}.dat
On apple I don't know the directroy but it's the same file.

4. Re: Why is DW giving my templates a .asp extension?
thersher Mar 5, 2010 9:53 AM (in response to M.R.Biesheuvel)I'm not sure how to clear the cache from DW, but it is doing it in all new sites that I create. If I create a template from an page in an existing site, it doesn't give it the dwt.asp extension, just the normal .dwt.
