Howard Hoffman Mar 5, 2010 10:35 AM (in response to Ann Bens)The screen shot looks exactly like the one posted, except that the codec is MainConcept and there is no
use maximum render quality. Is there a matter of codec? -
4. Re: use maximum render quality option unavailable
Jeff Bellune Mar 5, 2010 3:28 PM (in response to Howard Hoffman)MainConcept *usually* has their own export interface. Is MRQ available if you just do a native Pr export?

5. Re: use maximum render quality option unavailable
Howard Hoffman Mar 5, 2010 6:07 PM (in response to Jeff Bellune)I rebooted the PC and now it's available in both native Pr and AME. Quite strange.
I've read somewhere the peope arguing whether to MRQ. Any guideline on it?
The codec under video tab in AME setting is always by MainConcept. Is there a different codec available?
Thanks!

6. Re: use maximum render quality option unavailable
Jeff Bellune Mar 5, 2010 6:21 PM (in response to Howard Hoffman)Sorry. MainConcept makes a separate plug-in for Premiere Pro that can do more than what Adobe has licensed from them. Smart rendering of MPEG2 video is one example. I thought you were talking about the MC plug-in.
MainConcept is the "normal" codec for export in Pr and the AME for many export formats.
