There is a pen tool in Photoshop that you can use and then use the menu command to "Save Paths to Illustrator"
I do use the pen tool in photoshop. But Here is the logo:
I just could not get the same look with the fonts with the pen tool. Ok, maybe I could if I spent 10 hours!
The black is on a layer and the white is the back ground. I am hoping to bring the PSD into illustrator, then create a path of the logo,
then take back into photoshop as a path. I might just have to search out the fonts and redo it with the type tool in photoshop. I have a novice idea of using illustrator for a few years ago.
As Wade says...
1/ For the text part you have the font
2/ For the AMY part, i think the magic wand is your answer... then convert the selection to paths... check and tweak if necessary and you're home.
Alternatively, save the .psd as a tiff (maybe, you could even open the .psd directly) ... open in Illustrator and use Live Trace for the AMY...
I'll give the text a shot.
