    backing up website files? MAC

    Mardenweb Level 1

      Hi all,

What is the best way to back up your work and websites.  Apple has time capsule, but the reviews did not look great.  Can anyone offer best backup systems for MAC.

      Thanks,

      Dennis

For the truly paranoid, Carbon Copy Cloner. I have been using Time Machine and I like it, but once monthly I clone my boot drive.

A client asked me to change a page and I made changes. then the client told me which page he wanted changed. And it wasn't the page I changed. So I used Time Machine to restore the previous page and corrected the page the client wanted. Worked great.

I use Dreamweaver CS3 and OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard). I don't know what reviewers you are reading but I like Time Machine. Maybe there are troubles with the Time Capsule, which is Apple's backup and wireless networking system, but not with Time Machine.
