I'm using the date class to place the current date in the header of my application. I've done this many times, it works in several of my projects; however in one application I get the following errors when trying to instantiate a Date object:
1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: Date. blahblah/src main.mxml line 152 1268064016096 44816
1180: Call to a possibly undefined method Date. blahblah/src main.mxml line 152 1268064016096 44817
If I create a new project, I can do it no problem but in this project in particular it won't build.
Any insight here is appreciated,
Resolved... I had created a label with an id="Date". A duh moment for sure but it would have been helpful for to be warned when I assigned the id to the label using a system namespace.
