So I have over 40 gb in my adobe/common/media cache files on my Macbook Pro. Whoa. I simply MUST clean it out.
These files are copies of the originals right? In other words, if I delete these files, it won't delete any original content, right? How should I go about that?
I have an external drive, but if I remapped this folder to the external drive, wouldn't it slow down my ability to work through premier/photoshop/encore, etc? I would love to just use that, but I worry about it slowing me down.
Just clean out your media cache in Preferences. It will not do anything to the original files and what PR needs, will be recreated.
