Hi, i have an ac3 file that have inverted channels.
The sound comes from the surround left and right channels, instead from the front channels.
I dont have much knowledge on Premiere, how can i copy the sound from the front channels and past in the back channels and vice versa?
Thanks in advance !
This seems highly unlikely. Where did you get the file from?
Welcome to the forum.
In PrPro, you can use Channel Mapping to alter the positions of the sources in the sound stage. You can also do this via the "puck" in the sound stage in Audio Mixer. Now, if you are wishing to Export as DD 5.1 SS AC3, you will need the Minnetonka SurCode DD 5.1 SS plug-in for PrPro. Note: if you do not have this, purchase it from within PrPro, as Minnetonka offers about a US$50 discount to PrPro users vs the price on their Web site.
Personally, I'd do this work in Audition in a Multi-track Project, where you have ultimate control, but you should be able to get it done in an OK fashion in PrPro. I do not know about Soundbooth's handling of Multi-track source files, so cannot comment there.
