Does Flex support RTF (Rich Text Format)?

I need to display and retrieve text in RTF (Rich Text Format) in Flex.
Is there any inbuilt support exists for RTF in current flex API? If no, then is it going to be provided in upcoming flex versions?

          Hi,

there is no direct support for RTF, but there is a RichText Editor in Flex which accept "Html" as htmltext.
But I can´t recommend to use the Richtext Editor cause the used html is poorly limited and outdated (you won´t be happy to use it).

So currently there is no direct way to display and retrieve RTF/HTML.

You can find some solutions, which use a Iframe and the FCKEditor as texteditor.
But this is not a Flex solution :(

          best regards,
