Flex, BlazeDS and flaky internet - Questioning CRC checks

      Hi All,

I am currently working on a project that uses Flex 3 and BlazeDS.

Our software works perfectly fine on standard internet connections that are running well, however, when clients use a 3G network USB stick in questionable signal areas, it seems as though we are dropping and mangling packets.

I have a number of questions that I'm hoping I might get some help with:

      1. Perhaps I am getting this wrong, but shouldn't each RemoteObject call be covered under CRC checking?

      2. Is there a way to check to see whether Java, or BlazeDS has disabled CRC checking?

      3. Does CRC checking add a large amount of drag to an application?

      4. Short of writing our own data integrity check value, (which would be possible under our architecture but would take a long time to achieve), is there anything else that I should do/check?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
