Have you also turned off the dropped frames detection in the Device Manager?

Yup. I figured you'd have that covered, Neale. But just in case...
You may want to post on the Muvipix.com community forum with this issue. There are a couple of folks over there who really know their stuff, when it comes to DV bridges.
I've probably been a bit blinkered over trying to do it all in PRE.
Prior to getting the ADVC300 I imported from VHS into 'Magix Movies on DVD' where I created scenes and did some colour correction before export to DV-AVI. A quick test shows that MMoD sees the ADVC300 as a digital camcorder so I could still import it there.
Am I correct in thinking that DV-AVI Type 2 is a fixed format? So if I import it to MMoD and then export it straight back out it will do so with no loss of quality and thus be the same as importing directly to PRE7?
Insanity is hereditary, you get it from your children
It is almost a direct transfer, if you have Recompress turned OFF.
