This looks like an error you get from flash player. Do you get the error when you try to load you Flex app or when your app tries to make a connection to GraniteDS?

If you are able to load your Flex app, then HTTP cannot be blocked. If you only cannot make calls to GraniteDS then the port used by GraniteDS might be blocked, while the standard HTTP port 80 is left open. In this case, you can try to open more ports or change the port used to something that is already open. Maybe you could use port 80 also on GraniteDS.
