You can change the view settings from Folder Options.
Under the View tab, uncheck the Always show icons, never thumbnails button, and click Apply, then OK.
If you don't have the menu enabled, open any window in Windows Explorer, click Organize, and go to Layout to select Menu Bar. Then click Tools and Folder Options from there.
I went in folder options but the "Always show icons, never thumbnails " button was already unchecked.
In fact I can see the preview of all icons, bat not in the pdf files!!
I don't know,maybe the problem is due to windows 7 64 bit..
maybe the problem is due to windows 7 64 bit..
I doubt it.
My Windows 7 Utlimate is 64 bit and it displays the previews.
What is the view set to for the particular window you showed in the original post?
Have you tried setting it to Large Icons or Extra Large Icons to see if it previews?
Also, in the folder options, under general, in the Tasks pane, is it set to "Show preview and filters"?
I tried but nothing to do.
The problem is that my pc doesn't display the preview only for pdf files. I can see the preview for all the other files like JPEG, WORD file and so on, but not pdf files.
So I thought the problem must be in adobe reader, but I can't understand which is the problem.
