I have attached an image of something I saw on another site and was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to create this in FW?
I like the way he has used the original copy of the webpage and then blended it away giving it a paint brush effect into the background.
So my question, how do I take, say a copy of a webpage I have done, and blend it away on the edges to a transparent background?
It has to be a transparent background to work on my site.
I can see the vector mask and use that lots but was wondering if there is anyway of making the edges look a little less perfect?
Thank you in advance, Pete.
I can think of a couple of ways to go to make your edges softer.
First, you could apply a stroke to your vector mask object, maybe the charcoal or crayon.
Second, you could apply a blur filter. It converts the masking object to a bitmap, but it still works just fine.
Cool, you know I never knew FW could do that however, 'how' do I do what you suggest?
Had a look online and while I can see some of what you suggest I can't see 'how' you do it.
Many thanks, P
