    COMPRESSING PHOTOS IN FLASH

    GraphicsGeezer Level 1

I've just made a big fat slideshow in Flash and now find that they don't compress very well so my slideshow is about 8 mb. How can I compress them or do I have to do everything all over again?

If the photos are inside the library in the FLA you can change the compression. Right click one of the bitmaps inside of the library and go to properties. There should be a section where you can select/unselect one of two options: Use Publish Setting and Custom. Click custom and put in the percent value you want for compression. After doing this you can hit the "Test" button to see how this level of compression will effect the image in the preview window to the left. If you find this answer acceptable please mark the question as answered . Thanks.
