    Video Card for editing hd/sd

I have just switched from an older pc with matrox 100 and adobe premiere 1.5 to a CS4 suite  Intel Core i7  GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked. So my question is what card should I get for video editing to accelarate editing/rendering process for both hd and sd. What iam looking for is something close to matrox rtx 100 ( real time edit/easy to use effects presets like bw,soft glow etc.) What about nvidia quadro fx 3800 or black magic extreme? Looking forward to hearing from anyone with advice.

A better graphics card will not give you anything in performance. YET. With CS5 and MPE things may be highly different, but it has not even been announced, and nobody knows what it will bring, better rest on your laurels and save. Then, when the time is ripe, you can make a decision that is based on fact, not on rumor.

What kind of material are you shooting and editing that you contemplate Matrox or Black Magic?
