Disappearing Text Captions

I'm working in Captivate 4 and with the file that I'm working on I almost feel that something has corrupted it because with no rhyme or reason text captions will disappear when I'm either previewing the file or after I have published it.

It happens on random screens, and sometimes just going back in to edit the screen and clicking on that text caption fixes it but than the same thing will happen in another section.

I have had multiple people in my organization look at it - it just doesn't make sense. It's not the timing or anything like that...it's just some times they show up and sometimes they don't.

My fear is that I am going to have to rebuild this module completely so I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this and if they had a solution?

Thanks

Sharon

So your captions are disappearing randomly? Do they show for the duration of the time in your timeline?

The only real idea I can think of is to create a new blank project in CP4 with the same dimensions and then use the import feature to import all your slides and objects from the "old" Captivate file. This can sometimes fix strange problems with Captivate.

And to add to Michael's suggestion, if importing doesn't work either, copying and pasting to a blank project could be a next workaround.
