if your component is accessible from your main mxml file (for example if you have "public var compA:ComponentA = new ComponentA();" in there) You can access it from any other component like this: Application.application.compA
hope this is any help
Sorry this is not in my case. my component are generating at runtime under some condition.
So please tell me some otherway if possible.
Thank you in advance.
Can you post the code where you create your component instances? I'm sure it would be easier that way
If the functionality you need is self-contained within the component, you can dispatch generic event to the main application, and over there define the handler function.
If you need more specific interaction triggered by the component, you have to create custom event Class and then dispatch custom event.
I believe there are some clear tutorials in Flex in a week: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/videotraining/?devcon=f2
If you can extract the method into a common file then you could pull that method back in to each file using:
<mx:Script source="common.as" />
but that depends on what your method is doing of course.
Thanks for all who replied. But i figure out how to do achieve that target.
Thanks allot for all how gave time in repling.
