Is this an online PDF file? If so, try downloading it to disk, then open it with the standalone Reader.
This is a form that is generated when I enter information in another
onscreen form. After saving this form is printed by selecting a button at
the bottom of the page, where it is supposed to appear in a PDF window, but
never gets that far. The progress bar shows it only is attempting to load
at about halfway and the window remains blank. This form does not give me a
file name to download, otherwise I would try to open the way you suggested.
I have Adobe Reader 9.2 on another computer of which I haven't updated yet.
It works perfectly with this website and its forms that I work with.
I would contact whomever administers the site where you are getting the form.
It would be helpful to know exactly what product they are using to generate the form. Then, you could go see if that product has a help forum and look around to see whom else has these issues and if there's a cure.
Just a thought.
I haven't been able to print any .pdf files since I downloaded 9.3.
My message says Internet Explorer has closed it down because of data executable files. I've changed my DEF settings to allow
Adobe Reader but it still doesn't work. I never had any problems before with newer versions.
Please don't post in an exisiting topic with an entirely different problem; start a new topic of your own.
I did not post in an existing problem. My problem with 9.3 is still the
same. Has not changed. I'm using another computer with Adobe Reader 9.2
until Adobe realizes the problem and fixes it.
I responded to SarahknowsRE, who attempted to hijack this topic with an entirely different problem.
