Problems running Adobe Reader and Acrobat

    AEM_no

I'm trying to run Adobe Reader 9.3.1 (w/latest patch) and Acrobat on a Windows 2003 Standard Edition server w/SP2 and Internet Explorer 8.

When I start these applications the image shown below appears twice befor the application starts.

      ScreenHunter_01 Mar. 25 08.44.gif

"The ordinal 120 could not be located in the dynamic link library iertutil.dll"

The server have been recently updated with the latest IE patches from Microsoft :

      KB976325
      KB971961
      KB976662
      KB978207

      IERTUTIL.DLL version no. 8.0.6001.18876

When "downgrading" to Internet Explorer 7, the error message disappears. Doesn't Reader dynamically link to this DLL? It seems lik Reader tries to reference a function call that is no longer present in the IE8 DLL.

      Please advice..

      Regards
