After your post I've tried to figure out how to use ObjectProxy, but without luck.
Could you be so kind to provide an example?
What I would like to know is how to bind an Objects property to a TextArea instead of DataGrid.
My Object, as described is an RemoteObject from the backend PHP application.
An Object is not bindable. You can't watch properties for changes in AS3,
so you have to build-in code that dispatches events when changed. That's
RemoteObject will return ObjectProxy and not Object unless there is a class
All of that means, in theory, that you can just change this:
protected var myResult:Object;
protected var myResult:ObjectProxy;
And everything will suddenly start working.
