    Adobe Reader 9 update fails


      Hi.  Adobe 9 fails to update when end users attempt to update.   In occasions such as that above, the installation ends with a box containing only a Quit button.  When the users check update, the same list of available updates exists.



      Event logs display following:


      Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Adobe Reader 9.3. Product Version: 9.3.0. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Adobe Systems Incorporated. Installation success or error status: 0.




      Ending a Windows Installer transaction: C:\Users\mtd\AppData\Local\Adobe\Updater6\Install\reader9rdr-en_US\AdbeRdrSD90_all.msi. Client Process Id: 4180.


      On occasion, users receive an internal error :.
