1. Re: Please advise me on how to save an alternative version of a session that is already saved...
ryclark Mar 26, 2010 5:38 AM (in response to Mark Branch)You need to make a new folder before you Save As. Then you can go there and save your new session and all it's files in there all in one go as you did before..

Mark Branch Mar 26, 2010 8:36 PM (in response to ryclark)Thanks, you're right!
However, it still doesn't create a "recorded" folder in that new folder, it has the session file mixed with the sound files, no big deal though just wondering why it doesn't create a "recorded" folder when I "save as".

ryclark Mar 27, 2010 10:52 AM (in response to Mark Branch)A "Recorded" folder is only needed when you need to start recording new files from scratch. You can start a new Session and import audio files into it without Audition opening a "recorded" folder at all.

LuisaEmmi Jan 21, 2013 7:09 AM (in response to ryclark)I have a similar problem. I would like to try out various versions of a same reported story with multiple voices. But I don't want to have to import the clips from tracks separately. I simply want to take the entire session, copy it, and save it to a new session. I want to then experiment with both and create two versions of one story. How do I best do that?

ryclark Jan 21, 2013 9:25 AM (in response to LuisaEmmi)Open the Session with all clips and then do a .sesx Save As with a different name.
