I am having the same error problems putting files to my server. "error occured...canot put (file name).. access denied.  The file may not exist or there may be a permission problem...make sure you have proper authorization on the server......"  I spent an hour on the phone with my server guy and got nowhere except to say that when we set up the site to edit on the remote server, files saved just fine.  However, I don't want to do it that way.  I want to work on it locally and test it on the server.  I DO have my site set up for "passive FTP" and I'm still having the problem.  Can you please help?

First can i recommend you use a more descriptive title for your topics in the future.  Otherwise most people will ignore them.  Second, is this Mac, Windows?  And do you have another FTP program to test besides Dreamweaver to make sure the FTP connection works?
