I suspect there is a problem with the update

      Hello,

I've just passed a few hell days of adjusting and reinstalling my computer.

I was using Adobe Media player and the program asked me if I wanted to update it online. I clicked OK. the screen became blank gray for a moment. Then it worked all right for a while and then turned blank again. The computer continued to work But nothing was seen on the screen. After restart, sometimes it would work, sometimes not. After a while of working this would happen again-blank screen: sometimes white, sometimes blue, it even became pink at one point.

I also discovered a few corrupted files and temporary files that I couldn't delete because they were recreating themselves. I thought it might be a virus so I used the anti virus.

I checked the CPU and monitor and they were OK.

I reinstalled the whole computer (OS) and the Adobe suite again.

It worked OK until I installed the Adobe updates which I'd downloaded from the Adobe site. And the problem continued. I also tried to take the video card and ram out and attach them back in again to make sure they were connected well.

So I reinstalled the Adobe suite again without the Updates. And up to now it all seems all right. So now I suspect there is something in my computer that doesn't work with the Adobe media player update or perhaps there is something wrong with that Adobe media player update.

I just wonder: Did anyone else encounter this problem?
