    Big bytesize of compiled SWF file from CSS by Flex 4 compiler

      Hi all,

      I use the simplest CSS file as example:

      * CSS file

      @namespace s "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark";

      @namespace mx "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx";

      mx|Button {    font-size : 24; }

      When I compile the simplest CSS file into SWF using "compc" compile, Flex 4 SDK and framework linkage option "Use SDK default (runtime shared library)", the resulting size of SWF file is around 45Kb.

      When I compile the simplest CSS file into SWF using "compc" compile, Flex 4 SDK and framework linkage option "merged in code", the resulting size of SWF file is around 390Kb.

      Is that expected?

      In Flex 3 SDK triggering "framework linkage" type did not result in bloating of compiled CSS files in its size.
