    Convert psd to editable text ?

      To convert a  psd to "editable text"...do I have to have the Font / Typeface in my system.


      My client will supply text in a psd file  from MAC and I wish to use the text on a path in my Windows system.

          Yes, you will need the fonts on your system. That feature latches on to the text string and formatting info, but otherwise there is nothing there in the PSD. Unlike PDFs for instance, they don't support embedding whole glyph sets to retain appearance even if the font is not on the system...
