Apart from your low hardware specs ( and especialy one Hard drive and AMD processors)
Maybe the Dynamic Link is the culprit.
I would have done an intermediate out of AEFX.
Thanks for the response. What would be the best specs? I don't know too much about the AMD processors (I used to have Intels), but would more than one hard drive increase productivity with the AMD?
I was thinking that maybe it is Dynamic Link. Would an image sequence be the best (and quickest) uncompressed format to use with Premeire? I've always used Dynamic Link and have always had super slow render times.
More than one drive is fundamental to Premiere NL Editing. Two fast internals is a basic and three + is preferable.
You are experiencing a massive bottle neck issue and hence your slow renders and crashes.
Sort the hardware out and you are in for a treat.
