First update to 4.2.1 then try again.
Harm's advice is best...
Just for heck of it, you might try doing a search on your computer for "Sequence 01.avi" file...in case you have more than one "user" document directory
though I doubt that is the answer or you would see dialogue like, "overwrite Sequence 01.avi ? " every time you try to export new file in same location.
Also, that video from youtube , what kind is it ? can you post pic like your 1st jpg screenshot , but show what's in the project panel ?
@harm: harm, thanks for replying.. but is there another option than upgrading it?
@robodog: i have search for my exported avi, but no results. i'm still sure that my adobe premiere pro does nothing while exporting.
overwrite? there is just a message says "exporting data..." then message dissapeared. like my picture number 3. yes these videos are form youtube. and i have comverted it to mpeg.
MAY BE YOU CAN VISIT THIS VIDEO...
I wasn't talking about upgrading. CS5 is not yet out. I was talking about upDATING to 4.2.1. Why would you hesitate to do that. It gives you better stability, improved functionality and better support for hard to edit material.
if it's the only solution, i will try it... ah, it must be loong day to upgrade...
do you have adobe encoder? because it should appear after the window "exporting data" disappears. when the adobe encoder window appears, your project will be on a panel in line for queue, and you should start the queue then it will process you video, only then will you see your encoded file in your output folder.
1. project done and ready to export
3. export window appears... click ok... exporting media appears... after its done...
4. adobe ecoder window appears
5. you will see your project there on the list (make sure to select your project
in case of encoding multiple projects) >> click start queue
6. you will see down there (with the circle) that your project started encoding.
7. after its done you may see your exported file on your selected output folder.
i hope i helped you, if not then its worth a try.
sorry if you cant see the pictures clearly
I agree with Harm. The update to 4.2.1 fixes many things, including AME (Adobe Media Encoder). Version 4.0.0 had several Bugs, that were fixed in two updates, ending with the 4.2.1. Both PrPro and AME will be updated.
Many fell that it is easiest to close all Adobe programs, then open Bridge. From the Help menu, just choose Update. This will initiate the Adobe Updater, and all Adobe programs will be updated at once. The various Adobe updates are also available from the Adobe.com site, but doing so from Bridge will get them all at once.
As with any updates, I always create a manual System Restore Point, before I run any updater.
Once the updates have been applied, I would start this process over. As has been pointed out, one would load the Project's Sequence(s) into AME's queue and then Export from there.
Personally, I always use a new folder, created for a Project's Export, and keep this off of my C:\, as it is busy with the OS and the programs. I like to spread the work around to all of my HDD's, so that none has to do all of the work. Obviously, this will depend on how many HDD's one has, and how they have chosen to allocate them.
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR REPLYS GUESSS...
THANKS SO MUCH..
I HAVE JUST KNOWN THAT MANY SEVERAL BUGS ON PREMIERE PRO 4.0.0
