    Files Panel in Coder View?

    smckeogh Level 1
      Howdy,

Ok I am a HomeSite user through and through, and Dreamweaver has several things missing from it that HomeSite has, but also has things that HomeSite don't. As Adobe seem to have neglected Homesite (ergh) I am trying to get to grips with Dreamweaver, but have one really annoying issue with it that I have been hoping that Adobe would put into Dreamweaver for ages (I have sent several feature requests, but nothing)!

Is it possible to split the files panel on the left (in coder view) into two seperate windows like on Homesite? i.e. You would have Folders only on the top pane, and in the below pane it would show just files. This makes navigation sooo much easier, and I really have no clue why it has not been introduced to Dreamweaver? You would have to be insane to prefer the cumbersome method that exists at the moment!!

Anyone know if this is possible to do via addons? Hacks etc? I really don't know if I can get use to the single pane!

      Thanks

          I don't think it's possible in DW.

But try filing a wish again. Understand that all such wishes are
prioritized into a VERY long list. There would never be enough time to get
to them all in any reasonable product cycle....
