Why does Adobe Acrobat Reader constantly wants to Update itself by presenting an irritating dialog box that asks the user to update?
It's just a document reader - how many times do you want to update it? Why aren't all bugs/features added before it is released?
If you really want to update everyday, why can't you do it on the sly?
The latest version is 9.3.1 and it's been out for a little while now.
Your update didn't go right, or it would recognize the latest version and the updater would shut down before asking you to update.
Try uninstalling Reader and downloading the latest build. I doubt it will be asking you to update all the time after thet.
You probably have more than one Reader installed on the system somehow. Can you confirm this , If yes please remove one of the versions by going to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs.
