my content div is set at a height of %100 but it is expanding bigger than my browser window in, which case it is making a scoll bar. I want my content div to expand to the size of the browser window but if more content needs to be added it will expand more to fit the content and then be scrollable.
Height of page is always determined by content, not height of browser. The CSS Height property is a restriction in all browsers except IE. Avoid using height values on divisions with text in them.
Lots of content on a page = browser scrollbars. Short on content = no scrollbars.
